Destination on the Road
Follow the travels of Carl and Debbie and find out some interesting sites, facts, and ideas that you might be interested in with your travels.

Rose Valley RV Ranch in Silver City, New Mexico… This sweet RV Park is located off the main Hwy’s nestled in a little area so peaceful, quiet and serene. Each space has its own little unique private patio.  The downtown is a must see with the quaint little shops and wonderful dining. The surrounding area is great for day trips.

Moving through New Mexico comes our next “destination area”… Roswell Trailer Village RV Park.  Remember all the “to do” in 1947 about aliens landing in a farmers acreage? You have to find out all the facts and hype at the UFO Museum and then you can draw your own opinion. The area has plenty to offer for days trips as well.

From New Mexico we pushed on through Texas, up west, to a little town named Ranger. While there isn’t much in Ranger, the neighboring town of Eastland has plenty of shopping, dining and golfing to offer. Up the road, a must see area called Thurber which has a great museum telling the history of  the town where brick was made later making way for the trains with the production of coal and once that died off a strike of oil was discovered in the Ranger area.

Continuing eastward on I-20 we land in Weatherford, Texas at a very nice RV Park where the owner/manager greets you when you arrive. (This is actually the Brock exit). This great park offers beautiful spacious, long cement pull thrus and patios. Gorgeous laundry and private showers are housed in a beautiful huge building which is used for wedding receptions and special parties. A nice stocked creek runs through the property. This truly is a special place.
